On the beautiful , hot summer day of July 23, 1949, Deborah Yvonne Moore, was born in Flushing, NY. She was the second child of the late Robert Odell Moore and Sara Adele Phifer. Deborah had one older brother Robert, and two younger siblings, Richard and Lisa.

Deborah and her family lived in Corona, NY and she was formal education in the NYC public school system. She graduated from New Town High School in June of 1968.

Deborah was a faithful employee of The Goodwill Stores for many years. She also lived in The Goodwill apartment building where she was very active in her community and occasionally fellowshipped at The Goodwill church.

She was a very active member of The Congregation of the House of Prayer, where she served for many years and received many awards and certificates.

Deborah departed this life on Sunday, February 1, 2026 after a long health battle. Deborah leaves to mourn her passing, her Brother Richard, a niece Taletha, her beloved cousin Ronald Moore, numerous cousins and a host of friends.
