Jennifer E.
Daniels
Jan 5, 1986 — Oct 5, 2025
Jennifer Daniels Today, we gather not only to mourn the passing of Jennifer Daniels, but to celebrate the remarkable life she lived. Jennifer was just 39 years old, and though her time here feels far too short, the impact she made was vast, deep, and unforgettable.
Jennifer leaves behind her two beautiful children—Meah, age 14, and Miah, age 9—her greatest joys and proudest accomplishments. There wasn’t a moment she didn’t speak about them with a fire in her heart and a sparkle in her eye. She also cherished her niece OwlinaFaye, just 5 years old, and her 18-year-old nephew Patrick Jr, each of whom she loved and guided like her own. She was the proud daughter of Alice Mims, Douglas Daniels and Steph Daughter of Swenda Daniels, and the devoted sister of Jazmine (36), Jeriah (31), and Jasiah (27). God mother of Xavier and Adrien. Grandchild of Patricia Mims and Evelyn Daniels.
Jennifer was more than a daughter and a sister—she was a force of life, a confidante, and a constant inspiration to her family. Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree from Baruch College at The City University of New York—a testament to her fierce determination and her belief in the power of education. But Jennifer was never one to stop at just one dream. She was a true entrepreneur, bursting with ambition and a relentless drive to create something lasting. Whether she was running her hair business, launching a free cell phone service company, or opening a photographic studio in the heart of DUMBO, Jennifer’s spirit for innovation was unmatched. She even studied acting, always exploring the fullness of her potential. She didn’t just dream—she did. Over and over again. Jennifer’s motto was clear: “I’m building generational wealth—watch, my kids are going to have everything I never had.” And she meant it. Everything she did was to pave a brighter path for Meah and Miah. Her life was a masterclass in resilience, hustle, and maternal love. Her greatest ambition wasn’t fame or fortune—it was to be the greatest mother she could be. She had a way of rushing through life—always rushing, always late—but always showing up. And we used to joke, “You can stop rushing—we’re already late!” But on that heartbreaking day, none of us knew that her last rush—running down those stairs to save her life—would lead to the tragedy that took her from us far too soon. Jennifer Daniels was bold, brilliant, and beautifully stubborn. She was a protector, a builder, and a dreamer. She filled every room she entered with presence and purpose. Her love was strong, her laughter contagious, and her spirit unbreakable. We will carry her dreams forward.
We will protect and nurture her children, as she would have wanted. And we will remember her not just in her passing, but in the many ways she lived—with love, with purpose, and with fire.
